Self-Inquiry or "Who Am I?" - A Diary-Essay on the Long and Short Paths to Awakening

Image
Morning arrives with that peculiar, almost disembodied silence in which light does not yet possess color, only contours. I sit before the blank page of my diary, feeling the coolness of the air blend with the rhythm of my breathing. In this weightless hour, before the world has imposed its noisy demands and roles, a single inquiry surfaces from the depths of my being, blurring the boundaries between dreaming and waking: Who am I? This is not merely a question addressed to the intellect; it is a muffled, yearning moan of the soul seeking its lost home. Behind me lie years of arduous, at times despair-inducing, inner labor. This is the Long Path  - the pathway of the slow, methodical polishing of the human vessel so that it may become fit for the "descent of the Holy Spirit." From the perspective of spiritual psychoanalysis, this stage is a time for the raw construction and refinement of the ego. We cannot transcend that which we have not first known and tamed. For years, I ...

Abundance

When we hear the word "abundance," we often think of wealth, material possessions, and financial prosperity. However, abundance can come in many forms, and it's not always what we expect. God's grace can manifest itself in different ways that may surprise us.

#Abundance is a state of mind, and it's not necessarily tied to our bank accounts. It's about feeling fulfilled, content, and grateful for what we have. When we live in a state of abundance, we attract more abundance into our lives. We become a magnet for positivity, and our lives become richer in every sense of the word.

God's #grace is a powerful force that can transform our lives. It's the unmerited favor that God bestows upon us, and it's a manifestation of his unconditional love. We can experience God's grace in many ways, and it's not always in the form of blessings that we can see or touch.

One form of abundance that God's grace can bring into our lives is #love. Love is the most powerful force in the universe, and it can transform our lives in ways that we cannot imagine. When we open ourselves up to love, we become more compassionate, understanding, and empathetic. We become more connected to others, and we form deeper, more meaningful relationships. Another form of abundance that God's grace can bring into our lives is #wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to see beyond the surface level of things and to understand the deeper truths of life. When we cultivate wisdom, we become more discerning, and we make better decisions. We gain insight into our own lives and the lives of others. Wisdom is an abundance that can guide us through life's challenges and help us to navigate the ups and downs with grace and ease.

God's grace can also manifest itself in the form of peace. Peace is a state of mind that comes from a deep sense of inner harmony and balance. When we cultivate peace, we become more centered, grounded, and calm. We learn to let go of worry, stress, and anxiety, and we trust in the divine plan for our lives. Peace is an abundance that can transform the way we experience the world and help us to find meaning and purpose in every moment.

While we may not initially see these difficulties as blessings, they can be opportunities for growth, learning, and transformation. When we face challenges, we have the opportunity to develop resilience, perseverance, and courage. We learn to trust in God's plan for our lives, and we become more grateful for the abundance that we do have.

Abundance and God's grace come in many forms, and they are not always what we expect. When we cultivate a mindset of abundance and open ourselves up to God's grace, we invite #positivity, love, wisdom, #peace, and even challenges into our lives. We learn to see every moment as an opportunity for #growthandtransformation, and we become more grateful for the abundance that surrounds us. Remember that abundance is a state of mind, and it's available to all of us, regardless of our financial status or life circumstances. When we live in a state of abundance, we attract more abundance into our lives, and we experience the joy, #fulfillment, and #richness of life that #God intends for us.
