The Liturgy of the Open Palm - A Dawn Meditation on Cosmic Exchange

The hour when the night has not yet departed, and the day is but a pale, bluish promise along the edge of the horizon, always carries a sense of naked truth. I sit in the silence of this early room, as the first rays of sunlight pierce the glass like thin, luminous fingers, and I think about touch. About those completely mundane, almost automatic gestures we exchange out of habit, never suspecting that within them lies encoded the entire metaphysics of our existence. We say: Give me five . We say it with ease, with a smile, sometimes in passing, while rushing somewhere, locked within our own tiny, isolated worlds. But what does this truly represent, if we strip away the layer of daily banality? What happens in that microsecond when two palms meet in the air and press against each other? This is a merging . In a psychoanalytic sense, the touching of palms is our first persistent attempt to overlap the boundaries of the Ego, which we so zealously guard the rest of the...

The Dance of Perspectives: From Externalized Teachers to Inner Knowing

A person dresses the Teacher in a specific form, creating a temporary illusion to awaken the soul and facilitate the stages of learning. However, as one matures and becomes ready, they recognize that externalizing the Teacher restricts their perspective of realization. Hence, our Bible warns against creating idols or worshiping other gods. The concept of 'Me' refers to the essence within every individual.

Each being and consciousness grasps this realization within their own time and reality. A person becomes a conscious teacher when they comprehend that everything is a Teacher, and the externalized Self is, in fact, within themselves.

In this context, the notion of traditional teachers diminishes because everything and everyone becomes a Teacher, as God resides in all. The ultimate Teacher is the Lord.

The integration and merging of various levels of consciousness is a miraculous phenomenon, forming a unified subconsciousness, consciousness, and superconsciousness. It combines diversity, encompassing past, present, and future, creating a reality where time and space both exist and don't exist simultaneously.

A drop returning to the ocean remains aware of its individuality while being part of the vast ocean.

The hierarchical organization of consciousness levels serves as a convenient tool on the journey towards self-realization. It is a linear model that perpetuates the illusion until it ceases to serve its purpose.

Illusion is necessary for growth and awakening until it becomes a hindrance and limitation.

Analogously, when a tree is young, it is protected by fences to prevent harm from external elements. However, as it grows, these boundaries become obstacles that need to be removed. At this stage, the tree must take responsibility and strive for freedom until it realizes its innate freedom.

All of this represents a progression.

Since each person, creature, and consciousness is at a distinct stage of development, self-awareness, and exploration, divergence, division, opposition, resistance, friction, misunderstanding, conflicts, and contradictions arise. These serve as catalysts for movement and awakening, providing the necessary fuel for progress.

Similar to how a baby experiences friction in the birth canal to be born and emerge, friction is essential on the spiritual path to awaken the soul. Hence, suffering exists.

Time is an illusion; we are already united. We form a collective Being within the body of God. We are interconnected. As a beautiful Bulgarian song expresses, 'Sometimes you're late, but you always come, you come to us.'

Each person embarks on their unique spiritual birth journey at their own pace when the time is right. Prior to that, there is a ripening process, comparable to a fruit-baby-Sun. Each individual is a radiant Sun of God.

Physical birth signifies our entry into the world, traversing the birth canal. However, life in the physical dimension, which we refer to as the white world, continues to be a metaphorical birth canal. In truth, our true birth is yet to occur, an ongoing process unfolding before us.

All the upheavals, friction, pain, walls we encounter, wounds, resistance, contradictions, and limitations in the plot-like reality of life represent the spiritual birth canal—an educational journey.

Upon physical birth, a person adapts to the birth trauma, acclimating through the splitting of consciousness into various levels, distractions, defocusings, and projections. Life is then experienced in a scattered, non-self-centered manner. This limited perspective persists as the birth canal, with life unfolding within restricted dimensions and energy resources. Eventually, a period of integration commences to reconcile divisions and otherness.

We enter form to learn lessons and seek ways to transcend form—a multifaceted exploration of ourselves from diverse perspectives. Through this process, we uncover God, gradually revealing Our Creator in expanding and profound ways.
