They had begun cutting the trees. Large. Old trees. She remembered how, as a child, she believed that trees kept human secrets. That they listened. That they absorbed what a person could not confess to anyone else. Her mother had once told her that when someone cried beside a tree, the tears were never wasted. As humans, we often crave control and certainty

 As humans, we often crave #control and #certainty. We want to know what our future holds and what steps we need to take to achieve our #goals. However, as much as we may try to plan and prepare, we ultimately have limited control over our lives. There are countless factors that can influence our #journey, including unforeseen events and circumstances beyond our control. It is in times like these that #trust and #surrender in our relationship with God becomes essential.

One phrase that encapsulates this trust and surrender is "#Lord, Your #Will be done." This simple phrase is a powerful reminder of the importance of submitting to God's #Divine will and plan. It acknowledges that God is in control and that #Hisplan is #perfect, even if we may not always understand it or agree with it.

#Trusting in God's plan requires us to let go of our desire for control and certainty. We must recognize that God sees the bigger picture and that His plan is greater than our own. This can be a #challengingtask, especially in times of #hardship or #uncertainty. It is easy to feel lost and #alone when we don't know what the future holds.

However, when we trust in God's plan, we can find #comfort and #hope. We can #relyon the fact that God has a purpose for our lives, even if we can't see it in the moment. This trust allows us to #letgo of our #fears and #anxieties and to surrender our lives to God's care.
