The body never lies

It’s just before six in the morning. It’s still cool in the room, and the light outside is only just starting to find its way through the blinds. There’s this short, strange moment right after waking up where my mind hasn’t yet started scrolling through the to-do list, the worries of the day, or yesterday's memories. In those few seconds, I am just breath, warmth under the covers, a sense of weight on the mattress. Pure existence. Then my head switches on, and the usual noise begins. A digital detox

A digital detox is the practice of taking a break from electronic devices and technology in order to reduce stress and improve mental health. With the increasing use of technology in our daily lives, it's not uncommon for individuals to feel overwhelmed and fatigued by the constant barrage of information and stimuli. A digital detox can provide a much-needed break from these demands and help individuals recharge and reconnect with the world around them.

Advantages of a digital detox include:

✅ Reduced stress and anxiety: Taking a break from technology can reduce feelings of stress and anxiety and improve overall mental well-being.

✅ Improved sleep quality: Spending less time on electronic devices before bed can improve the quality of sleep and reduce fatigue.

✅ Increased focus and productivity: By reducing the distractions of technology, individuals can improve their ability to focus and be more productive in their work and personal life.

✅ Enhanced relationships: Spending more time with family and friends, and less time on technology, can improve relationships and increase feelings of connection and fulfillment.

It's important to note that a digital detox should not be seen as a complete rejection of technology, but rather as a healthy balance between technology use and other aspects of life. By incorporating regular digital detoxes into your routine, you can enjoy the benefits of technology while avoiding its negative impacts on your well-being.
